Come & Sing Dvořák – Mass in D: Music for Malawi

This year for their annual Come and Sing, our partner, the Soko Fund, has chosen Antonin Dvořák's Mass in D. They are delighted to have John Kitchen as their musical director. Rehearsal will be from 2pm until 5pm, with the concert starting at 6pm. We will be using the new Novello score. Singers are welcome to bring their own score but we will have some available for hire for £1.

Stay-at-Home Story on Bikes 2020

'Stay-at-Home Story on Bikes' is our pandemic cycling adventure. You can ride the equivalent of the route between the homes of David Livingstone (Blantyre) and Mamie Martin (Tarbet). This is 47 miles (or the full 210 miles) but you don’t have to do all of that and certainly not in one go. After a challenging year in 2020, Frank Kirwan is kindly opening his lovely garden within Scotland's Gardens in 2021 and 60% of all entrance fees comes to the Mamie Martin Fund. A two-acre ornamental and woodland garden sandwiched between two burns at 600 feet with interest throughout a long season.
